With the Perpetua Staff Module you can manage and organize your staff members and their information and display it on your website for your visitors to see. Follow these steps to create and manage your staff members.
Adding the Staff Module
To start, you will first need to add the staff module to your site. In order to do this go to "Add Content > Staff Module". This will open the administrative console for the staff module - in order to Add the staff module to your page you will need to first add staff members to it so there is information to pull.
Adding A New Staff Member
To Add a Staff Member click "Add New Staff Member" in the top left of the Admin Console
Editing Staff Member Information
When you click "Add New Staff Member" you will be taken to a screen that allows you to add the staff members information. In the first screen you can add their name, job title, a photo, and a bio about them.
When this is done you can update their contact information by clicking "Contact Information" as seen on screen 2. In the contact information you can add their phone number, email, and any pertinent social media information. To activate a social media link you have to hit the check box and enter the link to their social media profile.
After all of this has been updated you hit save and the Staff Member has been Added. You will then be routed back to the main admin window and you repeat this step as many times as necessary to add all of your staff members.
Sorting Staff Members
Once you add all of your staff members you can sort the order of how they will appear in by clicking and dragging them into the correct order from the main screen. "But wait, how will this appear on my site?" Great Question! Let's edit your display settings and make this look great!
Editing Display Settings
To Edit your Display Settings click the display tab located in the main admin window.
The first option you have is the number of columns your Staff Module will appear in. You can set it from 1-4 columns - the number of columns is how many staff members will be on one line before a new line of staff members is created.
The second display option allows you to set the background color that will appear. You can also have no background.
Once you hit save, your staff module will appear on your site. By clicking on the image the bio will appear if a bio was written. The module is also fully responsive to mobile devices and tablets so it is easy to read on all devices and browsers. You can always edit and change this module by clicking the pencil above the module.
